Released in 2000 and sculpted by Tony McVey. This Apocalypse is a limited edition run of only 5000 worldwide. This one is a very rare Artist Proof of which Bowen Designs only offered a handful. Apocalypse, the world's oldest mutant, first plagued the Marvel Universe in 1986 in the fifth issue of X-Factor. Born 5000 years ago as En Sabah Nur, Apocalypse has long preached a doctrine of survival of the fittest, seeing non-super-powered beings as unfit. On numerous occasions he has orchestrated events to dispose of these expendable humans "like lambs to the slaughter," often aided by his mutant minions known as the Hosemen. With his unlimited might, molecuar control, and shape-shifting ability, Apocalypse has wrought havoc with each of his appearances, not only on Earth but in alternate timelines as well! He stands 6 inches in height overall.
