Bowen Designs Nova Mini Bust Final Production Sample
Released in 2005 and sculpted by Carl Surges & Randy Bowen. This Nova is a limited edition run of only 2500 worldwide. This one is a very rare Final Production Sample of which Bowen Designs only offered a handful. Richard Rider was no different from any other American teen --Until struck by a mystifying bolt from the blue in September of 1976. Arbitrarily selected for an intergalactic conflict by one of the superhuman Nova Corps, Rider was transformed into a "human rocket" the man called Nova. Imbued with flight, super-strength, and indestructibility, Nova fought earthbound menaces like the Sphinx, and ventured to the planet Xandar to join the rest of the Corps in a war with the conqueror race, the Skrulls. He stands 6 inces tall.
