Released in 2008 and sculpted by Randy Bowen. This Faux Bronze Odin Statue is a limited edition run of only 300 worldwide. This one is a very rare Marvel Sample of which only a handful exist. This statue stands over 19 inches tall, sculpted by Randy Bowen, comes ready to display, and is fully painted. This statue is brand new and never been displayed. Odin is a character that appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. Odin was created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee and made his first appearance in Journey Into Mystery #86 which published in November of 1962. The Marvel Comics version of Odin is based on the head of the Norse Gods from Norse mythology. Odin is the son of Bor, one of the first Asgardians and Bestla, a frost giantess. With the aid of his brothers, Odin battles and defeats the fire demon Surtur and becomes the ruler of Asgard. Odin falls in love with Gaea, and becomes father of Thor the Thunder God.
