Bowen Designs Phoenix Mini Bust Artist Proof (Twin-Pack)
Released in 2002 and sculpted by Mark Newman & Randy Bowen. This Phoenix twin-pack had a limited edition run of only 5000 worldwide. As Marvel Girl, Jean Grey was one of the founders of the X-Men, debuting in a September 1963 epic by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. A tragedy during Jean's youth aroused her mutant telepathic and telekinetic abilities, powers he could not adequately control. Seeking aid, she encountered Professor Charles Xavier, who trained her to master her telepathy before recruiting her into his newly formed band of mutant heroes. Marvel girl proved a valuable asset to her fellow X-Men and fell in love with team leader Cyclops. They each stand 5 inches tall.
