Bowen Designs Rhino Mini Bust Artist Proof
Released in 2001 and sculpted by Randy Bowen. This Rhino is a limited edition run of only 6000 worldwide. This one is a very rare Artist Proof of which Bowen Designs only offered a handful. The Rhino first gored into the pages of Marvel Comics in the October 1966 issue of The Amazing Spider-Man. A pair of sinister scientists outfitted ne'er-do-well Alex O'Hirn with a polymer suit of matted, horned armor. Taking the name of the angry beast he now resmbled, O'Hirn became the Rhino, gaining superhuman strength, speed, and stamina, plus insulation from harm. As thick-headed as he is thick-skinned, the Rhino had proved one of the most resilient members of Spider-Man's rogues gallery, and has also tangled with the Incredible Hulk, the Thing, Iron Man, and more recently, the Thunderbolts. He stands 6 inces tall.
