Released in 2008 and sculpted by Rocco & Vinnie Tartamella W/ Randy Bowen. This Black Knight is a limited edition run of only 1500 worldwide. This one is a rare Marvel Sample of which Bowen Designs only offered a handful. The latest in a long lineage of Black Knights dating back to the days of King Arthur, Whitman originally took to the skies on a winged horse, fighting injustice with his laser lance and magical ebony sword. After a sojourn to the twelfth century, the Black Knight returned to contemporary times, where he and his new mount, an atomic steed built by the knights of wundagore, are poised to aid the Avengers when summoned. He stands 8 inches in height.
