Bowen Designs The Scorpion Mini Bust

Released in 2008 and sculpted by The Kucharek Brothers. This Retro Scorpion is a limited edition run of only 1500 worldwide. This one is numbered and also noted as a very rare Marvel Sample on the bottom of the base of only which a handful exist. The sting of The Scorpion was first in The Amazing Spider-Man #20 (January 1965), when Mac Gargan was hired by long-time Spider-Man antagonizer J. Jonah Jameson to shadow Peter Parker in order to discover once and for all how Parker was able to produce those wonderful pictures of Spidey in action. Although he failed to do this, Gargan was later asked by Jameson to become the subject of a risky scientific process in which the attributes of a creature would be transferred to him, thereby endowing him with powers great enough to subdue Spider-Man. The creature chosen to provide the transfer of powers was a scorpion.
