Bowen Designs Hydra Mini Bust 3-Pack
Released in 2009 and sculpted by William Paquet & Randy Bowen. This Hydra 3-Pack is a limited edition run of only 1000 worldwide. This one is numbered and also noted as a very rare Marvel Sample on the bottom of the base of only which a handful exist. "Hail HYDRA! Immortal HYDRA! We will never be destroyed! Cut off a limb and two more shall take its place!". Like the Hydra of ancient Greek mythology, the terrorist organization within the Marvel Universe known as HYDRA (First Appearance: Strange Tales #135, August 1965) is also notoriously difficult to eradicate. By referencing the legendary Hydra in their motto (quoted above), the group is proclaiming their steadfast and increasing strength as a force with which to be reckoned the world over. Furthering the motif of the mythical Hydra, agents of HYDRA are oftentimes outfitted with distinctive green uniforms that feature either a stylized "H" or a serpent.
