Bowen Designs Firestar Mini Bust
Released in 2010 and sculpted by Mike Cusanelli. This Firestar Mini Bust is a limited edition run of only 700 worldwide. This one is a very rare Marvel Sample of which Bowen Designs only offered a handful. The teen years are tough for most girls, but when your mutant powers manifest themselves during that time, life become even more out of control. And that's exactly what happened to thirteen year old Angelica Jones, the lonely girl who grew up to become the beautiful young lady known as Firestar. Angelica's story was first told in Uncanny X-Men #193 (May 1985), wherein readers learned of her time spent at the Massachusetts Academy under the seemingly benign tutelage of Emma Frost, the White Queen.Unbeknownst to Angelica, the White Queen planned to turn her into a Hellfire Club Assassin.Fortunately, Angelica learned of Frost's plans for her before any real damage was done, and she left the Academy and returned home.
