Bowen Designs Mr. Fixit Mini Bust Artist Proof
Released in 2001 and sculpted by Randy Bowen. This Mr. Fixit Mini Bust is a limited edition run of only 2500 worldwide. This one is an extremely rare Un-numbered Artist Proof of which Bowen Designs only offered a handful. The Incredible Hulk has always typified the term "Mean Green". However in the 1980's writer Peter David gave readers one of their biggest shocks, when the green Hulk seemingly perished in an atomic blast, only to turn up in his gray color as "Joe Fixit", a mob enforcer in Las Vegas, complete with hat and suit. The uncivilized Hulk of the past was now gone. His new role had more clearly defined the Jekyll and Hyde-like aspect of his personality. Peter David's Hulk was no longer the dull-witted innocent, but once again, the dark side of Bruce Banner's personality had taken physical for. The Mr. Fixit persona has since taken on a cult status in his own right and returned to Chicago in 2001 as a soldier for the Chicago Mob.
