Released in 2002 and sculpted by Randy Bowen. This Mr. Sinister Mini Bust is a limited edition run of only 6000 worldwide. This one is an extremely rare Artist Proof of which Bowen Designs only offered a handful. The malevolent machinator Mister Sinister first menaced the uncanny X-Men in September of 1987. Born during the Victorian age, Dr. Nathaniel Essex was ostracized from the medical community and even his family due to his unconventional theories on evolution, which led him to anticipate the advent of mutant-kind. The eternal despot Apocalypse bestowed upon Essex immortality, enhanced strength and stamina, and the ability to alter his molecular structure. With these dangerous gifts Essex became Mister Sinister, and for over a century has maneuvered events and individuals in his unholy quest to shape the gene pool as he sees fit.
