Bowen Designs Sasquatch Mini Bust
Released in 2006 and sculpted by Rick Force & Randy Bowen. This Sasquatch Mini Bust is a limited edition run of only 2000 worldwide. This one is a very rare Marvel Sample of which Bowen Designs only offered a handful. A master of both brain and brawn, Dr. Walter Langkowski, a prominent Canadian physicist and former professional football player, was inspired by the studies of the legendary Dr. Bruce Banner. After exposing himself to gamma rays, Langkowski mutates-- not into a rampaging green goliath like Banner's alter ego the hulk, but into the super-hero equivalent of Bigfoot, Sasquatch, a member of the Great White North's super-team Alpha Flight. Created by Chris Claremont and John Byrne in 1979's X-Men #120, the super-strong Sasquatch's transformations were trigered by his force of will. He ultimately discovered that his unintentional union with the "Realm of Great Beasts," not gamma radiation, was the root of his change.
