Bowen Designs Storm Mini Bust Artist Proof
Released in 1998 and sculpted by Randy Bowen. This Storm Mini Bust is a limited edition run of only 3000 worldwide. This one is a very rare Artist Proof of which Bowen Designs only offered a handful. Storm first soared into action in May of 1975, as part of the second generation of X-Men introduced by writer Len Wein and artist Dave Cockrum. Born Ororo Munroe, Storm's parents, a kenyan priest and an American photojournalist, were tragically killed, leaving their orphaned young daughter to fend for herself as a thief on the streets of Cairo. Once she reached adolescence, Ororo migrated to the Serengeti Plain, where her then-emerging mutant ability to manipulate the weather led the locals to worship her as a goddess. She was ultimately discovered by Professor Charles Xavier, who convinced her to utilize her elemental powers for the common good.
