Bowen Designs The Prowler Mini Bust
Released in 2007 and sculpted by Mike Hill. This The Prowler Mini Bust is a limited edition run of only 1800 worldwide. This one is noted as a very rare Marvel Sample of which Bowen Designs only offered a handful. The Prowler made his debut in The Amazing Spider-Man #78 (November 1969). Hobie Brown was a creative African-American young man who, while possessed of a gift for creating inventions, could nonetheless only find employment as a window cleaner. In order to make his job easier, Hobie created some unique equipment designs to assist him: custom boots for securing footholds; steel clawed gloves for climbing walls; and wrist and ankle bracelets capable of holding cartridges of washer fluid. When Brown lost his job, he turned to a very short-lived life of crime. After one run-in with Spider-Man, he was gven a second chance to right his wrongs.
