Bowen Designs Kazar Mini Bust
Released in 2007 and sculpted by Mark Newman. This Ka-Zar & Zabu Mini Bust is a limited edition run of only 1700 worldwide. This one is a very rare Marvel Sample of which Bowen Designs only offered a handful. In March of 1965, fans were treated to the Marvel Universe's Silver Age tribute to one of the world's most enduring literary icons when the cry "Welcome to the Jungle!" resounded throughout the pages of The X-Men #10. For this was the tale wherein Marvel's resident noble savage, Ka-Zar, it also featured the first appearance of the most famous sabertooth tiger in the history of popular culture - the snarling smilodon known as Zabu! This auspicious double-debut proved so successful that it led to another guest starring stint, one in which readers learned the stunning secret of Ka-Zar's origin.
