Bowen Designs Marrina Mini Bust
Released in 2008 and sculpted by Jim Maddox. This Marrina Mini Bust was limited to only 1000 worldwide. This one is a rare Marvel Sample of which Bowen Designs only offered a handful. Of all the members of Alpha Flight, the story of Marinna is the most tragic. Hailing from the planet Plodex, the egg that would one day become Marrina was sent to earth many thousands of years ago. After landing in the Atlantic ocean, Marrina's egg lay dormant for thousands of years until uncovered by a fisherman. Adopting the genetic code of her foster parents, as well as an incredible aquatic prowess from her thousands of years as an egg in the ocean, Marrina joined the super team alpha flight and later married Namor. Upon giving birth their child, Her genetic makeup transformed her into a monstrosity that Namor himself was forced to destroy. This Marrina bust comes to you fully painted and ready for display!
