Bowen Designs The Amazing Spider-Man Scarlet Edition Mini Bust

 

Released in 2006 and sculpted by Randy Bowen Himself & Bruno Bolteau. This Scarlet Spider is a limited edition run of only 2000 worldwide. This one is a very rare Marvel Sample of which Bowen Designs only offered a handful. Emerging from Professor Warren Miles' test tube in the Amazing Spider-Man #149 (October 1975), the faux Peter Parker's life was cut short when he seemingly died saving the Gwen Stacy clone from the Jackal in The Amazing Spider-Man #150 (November 1975). Spider-Man disposed of the Spider-Clone in the next issue- for it wouldn't do to have a dead "Peter Parker" lying around. It was later discovered that this Spider-Clone survived his altercation with the Jackal and taken the name Ben Reily in honor of his "uncle" Ben and "aunt" May. He later joined Spidey in his war on crime in NYC. He stands about 6 inches tall.
