Bowen Designs Tiger Shark Mini Bust
Released in 2008 and sculpted by The Kucharek Brothers & Randy Bowen. This Tiger Shark is a limited edition run of only 1500 worldwide. This one is a very rare Marvel Sample of which Bowen Designs only offered a handful. Tiger Shark stalked into the lives of Marvel readers back in Sub-Mariner #5. Todd Arliss, a former champion Olympic swimmer, led a life of wealth and fame until he severelt injured his back and legs. Desperatte to regain his former swiming prowess, Arliss spent his fortune in search of help. He was approached by Ds. Lemuel Dorcas, a marine scientist with criminal intentions, who used a machine called the "Morphotron" on him. Thus device is capable of grafting an animal's genetic code onto a human being, which results in the transferal of the specific creatures's natural attributes to the human subject. Dorcas chose the mighty predator of the deep, the tiger shark, as the animal whose genetic pattern he wished to assign to Arlis. Tiger Shark stands 8 inches in height.
